Progress since the tear down.

Here it is, rebuilding from the bottom up. A section of the cliff, twice as high as the last, and a touch more realistic.

To which I added a little outcrop accessible from the castle.

Yes, I used Styrofoam. It saves Legos and it's easily cut to the right size and shape.

The new gate house.

Some construction workers and a few guards.

The first part of the wall going up.

Again, to save the grey bricks you just make the inside colorful :)

The gate house you saw earlier.

And from the back with the second door.

Wall going up and up, with the walk way in the wall.

After much tearing down and refitting I finally got this little doorway in there :)

The overall height of the front wall with the house attached in the back.

Minus the roof: finished height with the walkways.

Again from the back.

After some rebuilds, the tower, more or less original from the last castle, is standing.

Starting on the main gate house with the portcullis and the archway over the slope leading up to it.

Side view

And as far as I've gotten with the front battlements finished and the arcade with the roof.

The next update will probably only happen after the Lego order arrives with the necessary parts for further construction. Hope you enjoy the progress!
