Continuation on the Townwall

 Wood supplies for the Palisade

The masons coming in for work.

One of the carpenters.

Taking a look at the supplies.

Container filled with wood for the Palisade.

Somebody wasn't paying very close attention.

The stone masons working on the wall supports.

After the stone masons were done the carpenter started his job.

2 supports were added to the winch for the pallet to rest on depending on high up the workers were.

 Building the wall.

It ended up being too front heavy so some chains were added for support.

In the mean time the stone masons were finishing the gates ramps

After the carpenters ran out of supplies the rested the end of the wall on a huge beam.

Finishing up.

Finally finished
(Ignore the mess in the back)

Even Lego people can be gruesome

 Man with a cut-off-leg named Smith :)
(Yes they are Mordor orcs)
Moving the pike out of the way with his shield so he can attack.
Some of the people on this picture never moved during the entire battle...

                                    Watch out from above.
 Revenge
 Revenge again
 Tisn't very pretty is it?

Upgrades and changes

I wonder what that twerps up to?

 I added some Huskys around.
Who doesn't have monkeys in their trees :)
  Husky, and cat.
I decided Bofur would be a better choice.
 Branches on the Windmills
 And on the barns.
And more barns

Work Day at the Castle (2)

After digging through my Lego boxes, this would be considered a good find.

 Work on the Walls roofing.

Loading the materiels onto the winch.

View of the work from above.

I bridge across the roofs for the workers to get around easier.

 The finished product.

When you drop one piece inside of a closed building, it gets kind of hard.

You end up tearing the roof off so you can get to that one little piece.

I had to rebuild this part of the roof because...

I decided I wanted a doorway there and it wouldn't have fit unless I raise the roof  up.

Eventually I'll give you an overview picture but first I want to show you the details and the construction work I do on it, and you can try to piece it together until then.

Some Military Vehicles

On side for fun I built this armored vehicle based off of a different Lego set, equipped with a .50 cal

Front view. The .50 cal is actually able to flip inside of the vehicle .
Transport helicopter that was originally orange but I took apart and spray painted each piece black.

The whole reason I repainted the helicopter is so it would fit the vehicle it was going to carry :) Both are quite sturdy and the hook holds the vehicle quite well and doesn't break and drop it.

Lego Order

We all love Legos in the mail :)
 Got myself a butcher

Some Lego guns for a for fun project.

Work Day at the Castle

 The castle itself.

Wind mills on a hill.

 Bilbo working in his garden

"He loves, he loves me not...."

Dinner is served :)

Looks like somebody
 got into a fight

Scholar with his flask of wine to keep him company...oh, and the books.

Somebody likes horses.

 Getting ready for work.
                                          The foundation pieces.
                                              Putting the supports in.
Putting things into position with the winch.
Supplies to finish the horse pen.
He ain't too happy with his job :)
                                          Gambling, tsk tsk.
And this somebody isn't on guard.

Look what happens when you leave the job.

Apparantly not much, they still end up running both ways :)

And there's the first post, more to come, not on a regular basis though.

Hope you enjoy it.
